2025 Big Fresno Fair: Economic Impact Projection

Every October, the Big Fresno Fair turns the fairgrounds into Fresno’s favorite 12-day tradition—livestock barns and concerts, neon midways, churros and curly fries, families from every corner of the Valley. For 2025, SierraView Insights projects 514,386 attendees and an estimated $41.0M in total economic activity across Fresno County, supporting ~702 jobs during the fair period. We use a simple, transparent approach: fair-time audience spending (excluding admission) plus fair operations, run through a county-level multiplier to capture how dollars ripple to local vendors, restaurants, hotels, and paychecks. Fair-time purchases also generate roughly $0.86M in local taxes (~$0.81M sales tax and ~$0.045M hotel TOT). This is a fair-time, Fresno-County-only view—conservative by design—so readers can see what a night at the Fair means for the people and small businesses that make Fresno, Fresno.
